The agency and energy startup ADC Energy USA, Inc. have together announced the emergence of “a new form of energy.” It does not use traditional AC/DC power transformation. It is presented to the world as a revolutionary development resulting from five years of “alternating direct current” (ADC) research.
This is an energy technology created on the basis of artificial intelligence and, according to experts, allows energy transmission without losses caused by current conversion. The project is headed by Narasimha Prasad, a scientist at NASA Langley Research Center.
Henry Lee, CEO of ADC USA, assures that the results obtained will have a “profound” impact on society. Why? It will save millions of megawatt hours in power grids around the world. The company believes the technology is ready to be deployed.
Lee compares this breakthrough to the revolutions of Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla. He further states that ADC technology comes to set aside AC and DC currents, which are more than 100 years old. ADC could enable more effective integration of renewable energy into the global power grid.

At the Energy and Mobility Conference and Expo, where the validation of this energy was released, Henry Lee, CEO of ADC USA, said, “The results of this extensive multi-year effort are profound, to say the least. The findings confirm that ADC is a historic paradigm shift and, more importantly, ADC is ready to be implemented to provide innovative solutions to our global climate and energy crisis. This is a revolution on the level of Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla.”
On the other hand, Terry Boston, advisor to the White House and U.S. Congress and former CEO of electric utility PJM, expounded in his opening remarks during the event that “ADC is the greatest innovation” he has seen in his “50-year career.”
The announcement confirmed that this is “a hybrid form of power, where both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) operate on the same existing wires, thus eliminating the need for dangerous power conversions” that waste electricity.
In short, the energy that Edison predicted is already here thanks to NASA. It is extremely powerful and records an efficiency never seen before in history.
